New Kensington Shoebox Project

Penn State New Kensington collaborated with the United Way of Westmoreland County to host a "shoebox project." Students collected toiletry items and shoeboxes and then spent an afternoon on campus decorating and filling the boxes, which were donated to Family Services of Western PA.

Penn State Beaver MLK Day of Service

Penn State Beaver was the regional base for more than 100 students from seven University locations who volunteered for a Day On, Not a Day Off in celebration of the Martin Luther King holiday.
