UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Upon the request from University President Eric Barron, the Board of Trustees has authorized a merit salary increase plan for employees that takes effect in the August 2018 pay. While the increase in pay will take place in the August 2018 paychecks, the pay increase is retroactive to July 2018.
“We’re grateful to have the ability to provide merit increases, as it supports Penn State’s commitment to providing competitive salaries to its employees,” said Mary Beahm, interim vice president for Human Resources.
Faculty and Staff can view their new pay information by visiting the WorkLion website as of Monday, Aug. 27.
How to view your new pay information:
1. Log-into WorkLion
2. Select Workday
3. Click on the cloud icon to view your profile
4. Select the Compensation Tab to view your new salary
5. Your specific information with the increase can be found under the area titled “Pay Change History”
