UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week, more than 1,000 Penn Staters will participate in We Are Weekend (June 21-22), including the virtual events leading up to the popular Penn State Alumni Association-hosted weekend on the University Park campus.

Registration remains open, with an ice cream social and carnival set for Saturday afternoon and evening, respectively. Both events are included with registration and have unlimited capacity.

The ice cream social will be at the Hintz Family Alumni Center and include Berkey Creamery ice cream and a full toppings bar. Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy commemorative photos, live music, lawn games, a photobooth and other fun activities.

The carnival will be at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, featuring game booths where you can win great Alumni Association prizes. Penn Staters can also stop by home plate to have their photo taken by a professional photographer. The event will be capped with a fireworks display.

Some events still have a few remaining spots open, including select campus tours, a special class focusing on the art of making cocktails, and a concert at Eisenhower Auditorium to celebrate the venue's 50th anniversary.
