Penn State reminds students of resources amid natural disasters

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With various natural disasters occurring across the country, Penn State reminds students of the resources offered by the University to assist those impacted.

Students in need can reach out to any of the offices or resources listed below:

  • Counseling and Psychological Services can respond to any emotional and psychological needs that so often arise in such moments. More information about their services is found on the CAPS website.
  • Student Care and Advocacy supports students in crisis and connects students to various resources that offer a range of support. Students can learn more by visiting the Student Care and Advocacy website, calling 814-863-2020 or sending an email to StudentCare@psu.edu.
  • The Penn State Crisis Line is available 24/7. Students can call 877-229-6400 or text “LIONS” to 741741 to access this service.
  • World Campus students who have been impacted by a natural disaster can request assistance by completing the World Campus Care and Concern form or sending an email to StudentConcerns@worldcampus.psu.edu.
