“I am humbled and honored to be elected to serve this national professional organization,” Luquis said. “This is a great opportunity to represent Penn State Harrisburg in the national and international arena. I am very excited to serve in this role.”

Luquis will begin his three-year term in March 2022. During the first year, he will be the president-elect assisting the current president and serving in the resource development committee. In the second year, he will be the president giving active direction and presiding at meetings of the board, the executive committee, and the membership, and offering support to the organization’s numerous chapters. In his final year, he will be the past-president, continuing his board duties while supporting the president and the new president-elect.
