UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present a free workshop titled “How to Plan a Class Session” from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, in 7A Sparks Building at University Park. The workshop will be repeated from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, in 315 Rider Building.

This interactive workshop, led by graduate consultants David Favre and Moji Shahvali, will focus on identifying learning objectives for a single class session and the importance of aligning assessments and learning activities with those objectives.

This workshop is required as part of the Instructional Foundations Series for new instructors.
