UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Behavioral Threat Management Team (BTMT) has launched a redesigned website at btmt.psu.edu.

The Behavioral Threat Management Team serves Penn State by systematically identifying, evaluating and managing potentially threatening situations, including persons of concern, at the University.

The BTMT reviews all concerning, troublesome or threatening behavior to provide violence prevention through early identification and mitigation of potential threats. Based on the nature of the threat an individual poses, police interaction may be necessary in the interest of the safety of the individuals and the campus community.

The BTMT website has been updated with a new look and feel and has been revamped to include a more intuitive navigation structure. The new site also includes simplified content to benefit users.

Overall, the new design provides a simpler format and clear, easy and effective navigation. The site also is accessible and faster on all platforms and features streamlined menus.

Penn State students and employees are encouraged to explore the site to learn more about the BTMT, its partners and resources.

Anyone can report a concerning behavior by contacting the BTMT at 855-863-2868 or online at btmt.psu.edu.
