Penn State campuses to hold spring commencement ceremonies May 6-8

Penn State to award nearly 14,000 diplomas during events across the commonwealth

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State will celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates during its spring 2022 commencement ceremonies, the majority of which will be held Friday, May 6, through Sunday, May 8. The ceremonies will mark the occasion of Penn State's 400th commencement since its founding in 1855.

This spring Penn State expects to award approximately 13,909 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing 198 associate, 11,106 baccalaureate, 1,817 master's, 352 law, 248 doctoral, 158 medical and 30 medical/graduate degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of April 22; totals do not include Penn College.
