Transportation Services announces Memorial Day holiday service changes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the following changes to Transportation Services office hours, transit services, and parking operations will be in effect on Monday, May 29:     

  • The Transportation Services Office will be closed.
  • Fleet Operations will be closed, with no Fleet vehicle pickup or gas service available.
  • The Bike Den will be closed.
  • There will be no CATA community or campus service. CATA's reduced service schedule will resume on Tuesday, May 30.
  • There will be no Campus Shuttle or Hershey Shuttle service.

Faculty/staff permit holders may park at Eisenhower Deck and all faculty/staff surface parking areas throughout the day.

Student permit holders may park at student evening/weekend parking areas throughout the day, except at the East, HUB, Nittany and West Decks, which will remain available to permit holders after 4 p.m. weekdays.

Visitor parking will be available at the East, HUB, Nittany and West decks at the rate of $1 per hour.

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.
