Environmentally friendly locations are highlighted during Penn State's Green Tour at the University Park campus.
This self-guided walking tour showcases select buildings and sites at the University Park campus that demonstrate a wide variety of sustainable features and services. Each numbered site has a short description and icon(s) indicating the type of green feature or service included at the location.
The suggested route covers approximately 5 miles and should take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, depending upon pace and length of time spent at each location. CATA buses are available to travel across campus. There is no fare on campus for the bus service. Visitor parking is available in parking garages for longer-term parking and in metered lots for shorter-term parking.
