Workforce Education program to host DEIB conference

The Workforce Education and Development and Organization Development and Change  programs in the College of Education at Penn State will host “Careers and Technologies for Advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion,” an online conference scheduled for Sunday, March 19, with an in-person pre-conference workshop on Friday, March 17. Penn State Ride Smart by Lyft program to expand access

Transportation Services is expanding the Penn State Ride Smart by Lyft program access to 2 to 7 a.m., seven nights a week. The program expansion will provide more consistently available service to University Park students who need rides back to campus from downtown State College and select surrounding neighborhoods. Charitable event at Beaver Stadium to benefit Centre County United Way

The Over The Edge event at Beaver Stadium, which will allow participants to rappel 110 feet from the south side of the stadium to benefit the Centre County United Way, will take place May 19. The first 107 people who reach the $1,500 fundraising minimum will be selected to participate. Participants may register by visiting the event’s fundraising platform, which allows those interested to gather support from family and friends to reach the fundraising total, or to simply make a donation to participate.
