Penn State Berks Night at Fightin Phils on deck for April 24

On April 24, the college will host a Penn State Berks Night at the Fightin’ Phils when they take on the Akron RubberDucks beginning at 6:35 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. Game tickets include an all-you-can-eat buffet. In addition, Chancellor Hillkirk will throw out the first pitch.

This event is part of a year-long celebration held by Penn State Berks in honor of its 60th anniversary. It is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the college.

Students can purchase their tickets for $5 at https://groupmatics.events/event/PSUBerksStudents and all others can purchase their tickets for $20 at https://groupmatics.events/event/PSUBerksStaff. A $3 service charge will be added per transaction, not per ticket.

Throughout the year, the college will hold a variety of special events for students, faculty, staff and community members. Other upcoming events include a Penn State Berks Family Day at Knoebels Amusement Resort on June 23, an ice cream-and-brownie social on July 9, just to name a few. The year will culminate with a 60th anniversary gala on Dec. 12, at the Berkshire Country Club.
